Learn how to build a shave horse and take it home with you at the end of the workshop. Shave horses are a simple foot – operated vice for holding a piece of wood so you can use a draw knife or other tool. Useful for making pegs, stool legs or pole lathe blanks for example.
The course runs from 10am – 5pm everyday and the price includes a wholesome, nutritious homemade morning tea and lunch every day. This 2 day course costs $350.
Accommodation
We offer free camping and caravan sites on the school grounds (no electric or water hook up) with the use of our hot outdoor shower and compost toilet.
Food
A wholesome, homemade nutritious morning tea and lunch is included in the price. A 2 course delicious dinner is available at an extra cost of $15 a day but this must be pre-booked and paid for at the time of final payment. We cater for most dietary requirements and while we do our best to avoid traces of allergens, we cannot guarantee that food is allergen free.
